Central Jakarta Mayor Instructs UKPD to Speed Up Development Program

What is discussed this year must be finalized and planned to be completed in 2022

Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma has instructed the regional working unit (UKPD) to speed up the development program.

They were demanded to soon complete the resident proposals discussed in the Regional Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang) at city level this year.

"What is discussed this year must be finalized and planned to be completed in 2022," he disclosed, on the sidelines of the Musrenbang at city level opening in five regions and one district virtually opened by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, Monday (3/29).

He also wanted them to convey information about the proposal submitted but could not be accommodated.

"We must be transparent in order to get a trust from the public," he stressed.

On the other hand, it got an appreciation from the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission B Member Ismail.

"The program popped up from the results of this Musrenbang is in accordance with the mid-term regional development plan (RPJMD), as well as Regional Strategic Activities (KSD) and the aspirations of residents," he stated.
